Technology takes over

Technology has taken over the daily life of many people in the world. If you were to asked random people to empty their pockets you are more than likely to find a phone, iPod, pager etcetera. People are becoming more dependent on electronics every day and it’s getting worse; people have stopped going to the library because they can just look a book up on the computer, nook, kindle, iPad, or anything else of the sort. The advancement in technology keeps people from actually getting out of the house and going someplace. People are even trusting technology to hold valuable information that could be hacked into or destroyed. If there was a power failure and all technology was put to a halt no one would probably know how to take care of their selves. People need to be less dependent on it and learn to do stuff on their own. Can you handle life with out electronics?

  1. I personally live, sleep, eat, and breath technology. My iPhone is like my baby, I should probably name it. I use my iPhone 99.9% of the day, it is always on me, and I always use it. My iPhone does so much I hardly use a computer unless I need to print things. I am losing brain cells and gaining arthritis in my thumbs guaranteed. I agree that people don't know how to be social anymore because it's more comfortable to just text what you want to say then say it in person. Technology has consumed our world population even older people are getting in on it. I will admit I couldn't handle life without technology, I just wouldn't know what to do with myself.
